Hi — I'm Dr. Duc Vuong. I spent decades as a bariatric surgeon, then stepped away to pursue something I love even more: storytelling, teaching, and creating things that truly last.
It started with my own daughters, Maysen and Millie. I watched them fall completely in love with books — the way their eyes lit up, the way they'd beg for just one more page. And I had a thought I couldn't let go of: every child deserves a book that's just about them. Not a template. Not a name swap. A real story — their adventure, their character, their world.

Our storybooks are crafted for children any age. The illustrations, vocabulary, and adventure level are designed to delight early readers and read-aloud sessions alike.
We ask for 3–6 high-resolution photos of your child. Multiple facial angles are strongly recommended — front-facing, three-quarter profile, and side views all help. At least one full-body image works best. Good natural lighting and JPG or PNG format preferred.

Your book will be a completely original, one-of-a-kind storybook built from scratch around your child — their face, their name, their personality, their adventure. No two Story Hero Books are ever the same.
Every book is built around your hero child plus one supporting character — a sibling, best friend, grandparent, or beloved pet. That covers most families perfectly.

We keep it at 4 because beyond that, the illustrations get crowded and the storytelling loses its focus — and your child deserves to be the undisputed star.
